
Most service dogs will wear a vest when working, but they are not required to.
You can never be 100% sure whether someone with a service dog has a trained service dog or not. It is not the job of pedestrians to police service dog access, but we can be educated on what makes a service dog, and how harmful faking a service dog can be.

- Not pulling unless necessary for mobility (usually in a special mobility harness)
- Well behaved
- Refuse treats from strangers
- Untrained
- Easily distracted
- Pulling on leash
- Barking
- Not potty trained
